Raven is my little show girl... my little princess! She was born in June 2007 and came to join our family a couple months later in August. Her dad is a beautiful blue / grey brindle and her mum was golden and all of her brothers were gold so, of course, she's mainly white although she has gray and gold on her ears and grey on her face but her white hair grows over it and covers most of the colour up!

Raven getting all ready for her first champ show in May 2008.
Her first open show was in January 2008 and when she was 8 and a half months old she won best minor puppy in group at the East of Scotland Canine Club show. She showed her little socks off that day and her critique was so good that I cut it out and kept it! Her first champ show was SKC in May 2008 and she was placed 5th/VHC in both the puppy and junior bitch classes.
I am delighted with Raven's show record to date. She has only been shown for just over a year but has had several puppy group placings, BPIBs, BOBs, a best minor puppy and has won her way out of both maiden and novice classes but her best result so far has been third in the utility group. She has also had numerous placings at champ shows (including 1st in Novice bitch at BUBA) and she attended crufts in March 2009 - probably the proudest moment of my life! She will be strutting her stuff at Crufts 2010 too!

Raven and Me after a successful weekend at Scottish Utilities and MLAA shows.
Although Raven is a show dog, she is first and foremost a pet. She is top dog in the house (only grudgingly accepting that she is below me in the pecking order) and reminds Wicket of this on a daily basis. Raven attends obedience classes as well as ring craft. Her favourite thing in the world to do is chew socks. Where she gets the socks from, who knows! She must steal them from the dirty washing basket when she gets the oppertunity then hides them til she has time to have a good old chew before getting caught!

Raven with her trophy for best yearling bitch at the Lhasa Apso Club of Scotland show.
Raven was awarded her Bronze Good Citizen Award at the Darlington champ show in September 2009. She did everything that was asked of her and performed beautifully not putting a paw out of line. I am so proud of her. Don't let people tell you that lhasa apsos can't be trained and can't do obedience. :D
