Spyanki Lhasa Apsos

We couldn't have a web site without including the other animals we share our lives with.  We currently have two rats does called Zunder and Fury and two beautiful budgies called Faddy and Murdock!  

My Ratties: Spyanki Zunder and Spyanki Fury

Zunder and Fury (named after a computer game) were born in the middle/end of April 2008 and joined us aged approximately 5 weeks at the end of June.  They are banded roan (banded husky) dumbo rats.  When they were kittens they were grey and white but as they have grown up their colouring has fade to almost completely white with just a hit of silver to their backs.  They are now two big ladies - with Zunder substantially larger than her sister - and Fury much faster.

Chris' Birds

Faddy was a Christmas present for Chris in 2008 and Christmas 2009 seen the addition of Murdock.  Faddy was very lonely himself so she needed a friend.  Murdock is a little bit deranged.  He thinks it is entertaining to chew the curtains or the coving - he's so crazy in fact, that he's named after Howling Mad Murdock from the A-Team!

 You can see from the photo of Faddy that when we first got her, she was a young boy with a blue beak, but at as she matured she decided to become a girl with a brown beak.  Murdock is neither a boy or a girl yet.  We'll just have to see what he matures into.  (Please please please be a girl - I don't want little budgie babies!!)

I thought I should also share some pictures of our extended families dog.

This is my sister's rottie, Diesel.  Sadly, Diesel has left us now but he was an absolutey fabulous dog and was the most placid, friendly, funny rotweiler I have ever had the pleasure to meet!  He is just 5 weeks old in the first photo and he was a cutieright from the start.  Once Wicket came along, the two of them were best friends.

This is my partner's parent's lovely little lhasa apso called Ruben.  He was born in May 2008 and he keeps them both on their toes.  He's got bundles of personality and is full of fun!  He's like a duracell bunny - he's constantly running around and his batteries never seem to run done!  He's such a happy boy and he has the perfect family that spoil him and love him to bits.  He's got everything he could ever possibly wish for.
